"Springxhilaration"
I wanted this piece to illustrate the instinctual exhilaration felt when spring arrives! I also wanted to conceptually connect how as humans, plants and critters, we are all tied together; hence the tree, woman, butterflies and the kitty all have their arms/wings outstretched, experiencing a unified exhilaration and joy!
Created withe watercolor, acrylic, gouache and ink on 140 lb. 100% cotton hot-press watercolor paper.
